Supporting your mental health during these trying times is important to reduce anxiety and stress. Here are some of our tips to help you focus on a positive mindset.

Keep a gratitude journal and write down 5 things every day that you are thankful for.

Reduce your media consumption to 15 minutes each day, just to get the important bits. If you need to, delete the apps from your phone or unfollows those who trigger you.
Create a schedule for your day that includes scheduling healthy meals, self-care, spending time outdoors, doing things you enjoy or learning something new.

Start a new book or listen to podcasts that promote positivity.

Make sure you are getting enough sleep, start a nighttime routine that includes a warm bath, turning off devices 1 hour before bedtime and a warm tea and a good book.

Check-in with close friends and family members and keep the conversations focused on things other than current events. Staying connected with others does wonders for your mental health.
