I wanted to thank you for helping us have our child, and provide other couples some hope. We would not have our daughter if we had not found you. I think it would help others to hear our story.
I was 30 years old when I came to see you. I had been trying to conceive for years, and had been told I was polycyctic ovary syndrome. I had tried many rounds of medications to stimulate my ovaries and had even done a ovarian drilling which allowed me to ovulate on my own 2-3 times a year. At age 25 I did IVF with the largest center in the Valley and they had difficulty getting my eggs to grow and they captured 4 eggs and gave me 3 embryos. I was not pregnant. I went to another large center and they could not get my ovaries to respond any better. After 5 years of trying, we met you and did your workup. You discovered some abnormal labs that suggested my blood clotted abnormally and explained this may restrict the transmission of hormones to my ovaries. You also noted I was low on a permissive hormone to help my eggs grow. We corrected all these things, and with the least amount of stimulation, I made 7 dominant follicles but was not pregnant after insemination. We asked you to move us to IVF and with your magic, you captured 29 eggs, and 18 fertilized, and we replaced two embryos and we delivered our gorgeous daughter. We have embryos in storage and will be using them in the future.
We wanted to thank you for you for coming up with your “ideas” and models, and without your perspective, we would not be parents today. I hope others read this and find you before time runs out for them. We tell all our family and friends about you.

Thanks for visiting with me at the Resolve meeting. When I heard you looking for testimonials I knew my story would need to be heard.
Way back when, in the early 1990s, we were all so young, I had been with Dr Lyles and had conceived with IVF after my 4th try. Unfortunately the pregnancy ended and we decided to try again, and again, and again. Our first successful IVF pregnancy was on our 7th try. When we tried for a second pregnancy we were not successful, and in all, we completed 12 IVF cycles with Dr. Lyles.
We moved to Arizona, Dr. Lyles recommended that we continue our IVF treatment with you. Your history taking revealed that overtime, I was using more med and getting less follicles to grow. You said you had seen this before. We made the changes you suggested and in the IVF cycle with you, we used less meds and got 3 times the number of eggs and were
pregnant.
I enthusiastically recommend you whenever I meet someone who is in need of an IVF physician. I just wanted to send you this message and let you know that you can share this with others.

In September I gave birth to a healthy baby boy! I believe the reason I was able to get pregnant again was thanks to the Hysteroscopy that you did for me in June of 08 (I came to you with complaint of lower back discomfort & painful cycle). If you recall, you found areas of my uterus “pancaked” and scraped or separated those areas. After the birth of my daughter in 2006, I hemorrhaged, had 2 D&C’s, 7 units of blood and finally a Uterine Artery Embolization to stop the bleeding. My period returned 6 weeks later even though I was breastfeeding. However, when I conceived February 2007 I miscarried at 10 weeks. This also took 2 D&C’s and it was difficult to conceive again (frustrating). I think my uterus may like to “retain” material!
Anyways, I wanted to thank you for the procedure because I fully credit it with helping me to finally conceive again after my miscarriage. I know my uterus is prolapsed, but at least I was still able to conceive again, naturally giving birth at 42 years old!! As before, I have continued my treatments with Dr. Qun Li (acupuncture) per your recommendation! Feel free to share my story, if it will help anyone else. Sometimes, maybe all that is needed is a little “house cleaning sweep out the webs” so to speak!
