Leader of the IVF Phoenix Medical Team
Dr. Couvaras is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist who received his training in the Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of Texas Southwest Medical Center and completed his internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and an active member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. He is the director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Assisted Reproductive Medicine and past chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Paradise Valley Hospital. He is certified in CO2 and YAG laser surgery, operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, and microsurgical tubal and pelvic surgery. His expertise includes all aspects of female reproductive medicine and surgery.

Anne Buchanan, Embryologist
Anne Buchanan, Embryologist
Anne Buchanan is a clinical embryologist at IVF Phoenix. She graduated with a Masters in Reproductive Physiology from Colorado State University in 2000. Her masters research involved vitrification of equine and bovine oocytes which is where she received her initial training in IVF and ICSI. She has worked as an embryologist since 2000. Her personal interests include riding horses, equine reproduction and spending time with her family.
At IVF Phoenix, Anne is responsible for the andrology and embryology services, including micromanipulation, ICSI, and assisted hatching associated with advanced reproductive technology, as well as oocyte and embryo vitrification.
